The new Acura TLX is host to a 2.0-liter turbocharged
inline-four cylinder engine capable of making 272 horsepower and 280
pound-feet of torque. It can achieve up to 31 mpg on the highway when in
its base Front-Wheel-Drive configuration. The automaker's acclaimed
Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive system can enhance dynamics through
inclement weather and off the paved roads. Engine power is driven
through a 10-speed automatic transmission. We expect a twin-turbocharged
V6 to be made available soon with the sport-tuned Acura TLX Type S
model.
A Posh Cabin Targets Convenience and Comfort
Acura TLX sedans feature faux-leather upholstery that
easily passes for the real thing. A moonroof brings a natural feel to
the inviting cabin. Dual-zone climate control allows for a more tailored
environment. Leather upholstery is available as are heated and
ventilated front seats and a unique open-pore wood trim.
New Tech and Safety Gadgets
All TLX models include 10.2-inch infotainment screens with
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Two upgradeable sound systems are
offered; either a 13-speaker or 17-speaker ELS audio system. A
surround-view camera, color heads-up display, and folding side mirrors
all are available options to help enhance ease of use and convenience
when traveling around Toledo, OH. Adaptive cruise control is standard
across the trim range.
