Did you know that there are two factories manufacturing Acuras right here in Ohio?  We bet you didn't.  Did you know that the plant in Marysville, Ohio employs over 4,000 Ohioans?  Again, we bet you didn't.

The East Liberty Auto Plant is a Honda plant that opened in 1989. This plant produces the well-loved Honda CR-V, the award winning Acura RDX, and the stunning Acura MDX. The vehicles built in this plant are not only sent to dealers in the United States, but to several other countries as well.

The Marysville Auto Plant began production in 1982 with the Honda Accord. Since then, they have been building several of the vehicles in the Acura lineup. While this plant is already the size of 39 Walmart stores, they are currently adding a line for paint, making the facility even bigger!

The Acura ILX has been manufactured at the Marysville plant since 2015. Likewise, the Acura TLX has been built in Marysville since 2014.  The Acura TL was built there from 1998 to 2014 when the model was discontinued. The RDX was being built in the Marysville plant from 2006 to 2012 when it moved to the East Liberty, Ohio plant. The Acura MDX started being manufactured at the East Liberty plant in 2017.
